Kirstyn Schmidt
Born 11th June 1991 · South Africa · Living in England since age 6

Early Life & Family
Kirstyn was adopted into a loving family. Her adoptive parents were journalists working in South Africa before relocating to England, where Kirstyn began her new life at the age of six. She was brought up in a close, supportive family with two younger brothers, centred around togetherness, shared experiences and making memories outdoors.
From a young age she developed a deep love for animals — especially horses — and felt a strong natural connection to all animals and nature.
Qualifications & Experience
15+ years professional cleaning
Including contract cleaning at Littlehampton Academy School, private homes, holiday lets and commercial spaces.
NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care
Chichester College (Brinsbury Campus), plus a Level 2 Certificate in Dog Grooming, NC Animal Care Level 2 and hands-on grooming placements.
Kirstyn leads our cleaning services — one of the main things we do and the service she is most experienced in. With over 15 years of professional cleaning behind her, from busy contract cleaning at Littlehampton Academy School to private homes, holiday lets and commercial spaces, she brings a genuinely high standard to every single visit.
Cleaning Services She Provides
- Regular home cleaning
- Deep cleans & one-off visits
- Holiday let & end-of-stay cleaning
- Kitchens & bathrooms
- Interior detail & finishing touches
- Contract & commercial cleaning
Alongside her cleaning work, Kirstyn is a lifelong animal lover with an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and dog grooming training, so pet sitting is offered as an additional service for clients who need it.
Personal Philosophy
Kirstyn is deeply passionate about creating a stress-free environment where animals remain in their own homes rather than being placed into stressful environments such as kennels or catteries. She believes keeping animals in their familiar environment and daily routine is essential for their wellbeing, happiness and sense of security while their owners are away.
Childhood & Animals
Kirstyn was always surrounded by animals. Her family had dogs named Kelly, Prince and Sandy, a cat named Misty, and a foster family dog called Fidget, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She enjoyed swimming, an active outdoor lifestyle, and one of the most important bonds of her life — her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Thor. She raised and cared for Thor throughout his life, sharing daily walks, companionship and love until he passed at 15 and a half. That experience deeply strengthened her passion for animal care and welfare.
Passions & Lifestyle
Kirstyn lives an active, outdoor-focused life — horse riding every fortnight, gym and fitness, gardening (including her allotment), cooking and baking, swimming in the sea, and spending time with friends and family. She currently cares for her two black cats, Nala and Crystal, raised from kittens.
